Jeez, time is up for creepy lawyers who deploy creepy strategies to paralyse the judicial system: Seeking the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to interpret, amend or just give an opinion on cases from far flung corners on Kenya.
Now, DPP Keriako Tobiko is to name 47 prosecutors who would represent his office in the 47 counties in Kenya.
This means justice would be dispensed faster: Criminals would be sent to the coolers faster than they can regret their actions; innocent people would be certified innocent faster than they can be implicated and most importantly land cases. “This means that all crimes, including murder and robbery with violence would not be sent to Nairobi for approval,” a source said.
I know creepy lawyers will be creepier, though. No doubt about that, but for now they have been tamed.
